South Jersey resident's discovery leads to recovery of human remainsEGG HARBOR TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Authorities are investigating after human remains were discovered in a wooded area of Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. Police said the remains were found July 30 near the intersection of Tilton and Delilah roads. New Jersey State Police's cadaver canine unit then helped locate additional remains nearby. The identity of the person and the cause and manner of death remain unknown pending a forensic examination. Police say there does not appear to be any public safety concern resulting from this discovery.
