Applejack Hospitality has unveiled Winnie’s, its new eatery along the waterfront of the Sydney Opera House, inspired by the first woman and second person ever to perform at the Opera House, Winifred Atwell. Winnie’s is an all-day dinning venue that neighbours Opera Bar, designed as a destination restaurant and bar positioned to welcome more visitors throughout the day. Jade McKellar, Chief Customer Officer at Sydney Opera House also shared her delight for the venue’s opening and its celebration of history. Great music, delicious menus and good company feels like the perfect next chapter for the Opera House.” The new food menu was created by Applejack Culinary Director Patrick Friesen and Opera Bar Executive Chef Daniel Cooper.
