More than 140 members of the G Adventures community across Australia and New Zealand came together for the inaugural 10-kilometre ‘Raise The Community’ walk. G Adventures managing director ANZ Sean Martin joined the Brisbane walk, noting that the event demonstrated the strength of the travel industry’s collective impact. “Travel has always been about bringing people together, and that’s exactly what we saw with Raise The Community. “Community tourism creates real opportunities for local people, and every dollar raised helps Planeterra continue that important work and gets us one step closer to our Project 300 goal. Project 300 is a joint commitment between G Adventures and Planterra to uplift 300 communities through travel initiatives by the year 2030.
