There won’t be much change in the pattern through the end of this week with warm, humid air in place, wildfire smoke aloft, and occasional rounds of showers and storms. The next complex of thunderstorms formed in South Dakota Tuesday evening and looks to slip just south of us Wednesday morning. However, some brief, light rain is possible Wednesday morning in north-central Iowa, so we could pick up a bit of rain around Mason City. Another shot of showers and thunderstorms moves through the region late Wednesday night through Thursday morning. The opportunity for more showers and thunderstorms continues for us Friday night through Saturday night.
