The Cariboo Regional District partially downgraded the French Bar Evacuation Order to an Alert for some of the eastern portions of the French Bar Evacuation Area. These portions will be identified as French Bar Creek Fire Area 5 and the CRD said properties in the western portion remain in the Order Area. At 4 o’clock this (August 10) afternoon the Cariboo Regional District Emergency Operations Centre partially rescinded that Evacuation Order issued on July 25 at 7 pm. It was for 22 parcels and 8 house points covering 7198 hectares in the Gang Ranch area. The CRD said in an Alert area you must remain prepared to evacuate your premises or property should it be required.
