Fire at a 'Junction 8' restaurant: One person treated in hospital. A fire at the Yakiniku Like restaurant in Bishan's Junction 8 shopping mall on Tuesday (Aug 11) led to the evacuation of approximately 120 people. The blaze, which started in a grilling appliance and exhaust ducting system, was extinguished by the SCDF. One person was taken to Singapore General Hospital for smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
