Philadelphia Phillies star Bryce Harper said his recent move to the outfield has somewhat reaggravated the knee soreness that he experienced for a few weeks in July.
"I was not feeling it, but the more I've ramped it up, I've gotten sore," he told reporters on Tuesday.
Harper had originally experienced the knee soreness after a slide into second base on July 11, though it eventually diminished until he was shifted into the outfield.
The Phillies, in an effort to inject some life into a floundering offense, added second baseman Luis Arráez at the trade deadline.
That forced a seismic shift defensively, as second baseman Bryson Stott moved to third, third baseman Alec Bohm moved to first and Harper went from first base to right field, the position he started his MLB career playing.
