One man found deceased in water; Wiggins Police believe it was an accidental drowningWIGGINS, Miss. (WXXV) – First responders located and recovered a deceased individual from a body of water on Tuesday evening following an extensive search effort, according to the Wiggins Police Department. Around 5:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to a report of an adult male in the water who appeared to be drowning. Search-and-rescue operations were initiated and led by the Wiggins Fire Department, with assistance from Harrison County Fire Rescue and other responding agencies. According to police, preliminary information indicates that the death is believed to have resulted from an accidental drowning.
