Tyrone Sobry is headed back to the prairies.
The Prince George Cougars have dealt the 20-year-old blueliner to the Saskatoon Blades, in exchange for a 6th round pick in 2028’s WHL Prospects Draft.
“We were very happy with how Tyrone performed for the Cougars but we currently have a surplus of over-agers on our roster,” said Lamb.
“He’s going back to his hometown of Saskatoon with a better chance to play so we’re happy about that.
The Cougars picked up Sobry from the Blades at the trade deadline this past season.
