(CNS): The NCFC is not going to admit what the Cayman Forward Initiative is really about, but they shouldn’t think that anyone is fooled. It also indicates that the planning department learnt nothing from the Cayman Forward talking shop, or, apparently, from being spanked by the ombudsman. This is not a board that is looking for a way to follow the law or to find common ground. Somehow, the portents for the new plan, drafted by the planning department and spearheaded by Jay Ebanks, feel ominous. Part of the Cayman Forward Initiative will streamline the planning process, which is a good thing.
