With the footprint of Sustainable Winegrowing Australia continuing to expand, the national wine industry sustainability program has formed a Board to support the next phase of its evolution. Sustainable Winegrowing Australia’s 1,995 members represent 58 of 65 Australian wine regions, 80 per cent of which have achieved full certification. Sustainable Winegrowing Australia member wineries accounted for 96 per cent of the 2025 winegrape crush, with more than 357 million bottles of wine now qualifying to display the Sustainable Winegrowing Australia trust mark. As one of the first Hunter Valley estates fully certified by Sustainable Winegrowing Australia, Margan champions sustainable practices across 70 hectares of estate-grown vineyards and its acclaimed hyper-local agri-dining restaurant.
