WEST FARGO, N.D. — At a roundtable hosted today by the Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber of Commerce, Senator John Hoeven detailed ongoing efforts to advance key economic, agricultural, and energy priorities for North Dakota. During the event, Hoeven highlighted legislative initiatives aimed at supporting farmers, expanding state energy production, and completing critical water infrastructure. Hoeven has also authored several targeted provisions within Farm Bill 2.0 to assist North Dakota producers, including:The PACE Act: Increases direct and guaranteed loan limits for the Farm Service Agency. Joint Chiefs Program: Reauthorizes a partnership program that has invested over $3.2 million into restoring North Dakota grasslands. Following committee approval of his Dakota Water Resources Act (DWRA) Amendments legislation, authorization will increase under the Municipal, Rural, and Industrial (MR&I) water supply grant program for North Dakota and its five Tribal Nations.
