Beacon Minerals has reported high-grade gold intercepts, including two distinct “In situ” mineralisation styles, from diamond drilling at its Iguana deposit in Western Australia, with the results set to feed into an updated Mineral Resource estimate. “The diamond program has significantly enhanced our understanding of the Iguana gold system,” Beacon Minerals executive chairman and managing director Graham McGarry said. The strongest results from the drilling included 13.3 metres at 16.32 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from 76.2 metres in hole 26IGDD0010, alongside 11.45 metres at 6.64g/t gold from 93 metres and five metres at 8.78g/t gold from 32 metres. Further results included two metres at 11.48g/t gold from 120 metres in hole 26IGDD0016, while hole 26IGDD0017 returned 7.7 metres at 1.42g/t gold from 272.3 metres. “This drilling will form an important component of the company’s next Mineral Resource update planned for Q1 FY26/27,” McGarry said.
