There was a segment on the August 11th edition of WWE NXT on The CW that saw Kali Armstrong take to the ring to stake her claim to an NXT Women’s Championship match. Armstrong was interrupted by Kelani Jordan, who has also been on the chase for a title match. As they were going back and forth, NXT Women’s Champion Kendal Grey and WWE Women’s Speed Champion Wren Sinclair came to the ring. Jordan selected the NXT Heatwave Premium Live Event on August 30th.
