The Department of State Services (DSS), yesterday, paraded the kidnappers of members of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Inoyi-Affa, Udi LGA, on August 2, 2026 before newsmen at the state headquarters of the DSS, following their arrest. Three of the suspects were paraded, while another was killed during a gun battle with joint security forces. The victims had earlier identified the arrested suspects as their abductors. As the SSG stated, quoting Governor Mbah, “Enugu has the capacity to nip security breaches in the bud. But where they occur, the perpetrators may flee, but will be pursued relentlessly and brought to book”.
