FARGO — An executive order from President Trump is causing concern among parents, on the childhood vaccine schedule. The new executive order calls for eventually splitting the MMR vaccine into separate shots, and spreading childhood vaccines across multiple visits. Dr. Stephanie Hanson, a pediatrician at Sanford Health, said the vaccine supply is safe, well-tested, and highly recommended by all the leading medical organizations in the country. "Your child's physician is very well-versed in the history of vaccines, the safety of vaccines (and) the science of vaccines. Hanson added that Sanford is sticking to its normal vaccine schedule until further notice.
