Spotify Adds 'AI Persona' Labels as It Cracks Down on AI-Generated Artist IdentitiesSpotify is drawing a clearer line between AI-assisted music and entirely artificial artist identities.
The company is introducing a new AI Persona badge for artist profiles.
Starting in mid-September, Spotify will show the badge across artist profiles, Search, and playlist track rows.
Artists can disclose their AI Persona status through Spotify for Artists starting today.
Users could still encounter them if they specifically follow an AI Persona.
