The Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) inspected more than 1,430 advertising signs across Macau in the first half of 2026 and removed six dangerous or abandoned signs. The bureau said inspections will be stepped up during the typhoon season from March to October. Owners will be required to repair or remove signs deemed hazardous, while abandoned signs will be removed if owners fail to act by the deadline or if their owners cannot be identified.
