Penrith City Council is seeking community feedback as it undertakes an overland flow flood study for Cambridge Park and Jordan Springs. The study includes parts of Cambridge Gardens, Cambridge Park, Jordan Springs, Llandilo, Werrington County and Werrington Downs. The flood study will examine overland flood behaviour, identify existing flood issues and provide a foundation for future flood risk management planning. Penrith Mayor Todd Carney said the study reflects Council’s commitment to strengthening community safety and resilience through improved flood management. Council has engaged Catchment Simulation Solutions Pty Ltd, an independent consultancy specialising in flood modelling, to prepare the study.
