I sat down on Tuesday night, laptop fired up and glass of wine in hand, to complete the latest Census. I reckon you could make the Census a whole lot more appealing if we spiced it up a bit. Sure, let’s ask all those boring questions about housework, religion and education, but let’s dig a little deeper too. Not only would adding all of this stuff make the Census more exciting, it’d make the results highly anticipated too. I’m saying this with my tongue firmly planted in my cheek, but I admit I’m actually starting to convince myself it’s a good idea.
