Visakhapatnam: Commodore Sarvdeep Singh Dhody assumed command of INS Kalinga and took over as the Station Commander, Naval Station Bheemunipatnam, from Commodore Anirudha Roy at a formal Change of Command Ceremony held at INS Kalinga.
Commissioned into the Indian Navy on 01 Jul 1998 in the Electrical Branch, Commodore Dhody has held a wide range of operational, training and technical appointments during his career.
Commodore Dhody holds Master’s degrees in RF Design and Technology from IIT Delhi and Management Studies from Osmania University.
As the Commanding Officer of INS Kalinga and Station Commander, Naval Station Bheemunipatnam, Commodore Dhody assumes responsibility for the establishment’s operational readiness, administration and overall functioning.
He assumed command of INS Kalinga and took over as the Station Commander, Naval Station Bheemunipatnam on August 10.
