Tirupati: The Railway Protection Force (RPF) at Tirupati recovered a gold mangalasutram chain worth around Rs 3 lakh that a passenger had accidentally left behind in a train. The train had reached Tirupati Railway Station at around 3.35 am. Acting on the complaint, RPF Inspector Tirupati M Sandeep Kumar supervised a search of the coach in the Tirupati Yard. After completing her darshan, Kavitha, along with her husband, visited the RPF Post at Tirupati on Tuesday. Following verification and formalities, the chain was handed over to her against acknowledgement in the presence of IRP Tirupati Vara Prasad.
