The agreement with Siemens Energy covers 20 turbine sets rated at 50 megawatts each. The company said it has a pipeline of near-term opportunities involving data centers and power generation. B&W’s FastPower program is aimed at shortening the path from equipment procurement to operational power generation. Turbines target hungry grids The partnership also gives Siemens Energy another route into the growing US market for large-scale power infrastructure. The company will provide its steam turbine technology for the generator sets covered by the agreement.
