Govt attaches fresh properties in AP, Karnataka

Amaravati: The state government has issued ad-interim orders attaching additional immovable properties linked to the AgriGold Group of Companies, alleging that the properties were purchased with money collected from depositors.
The CID alleged that the properties were purchased with depositors’ money.
Another set of properties comprises 3.32 guntas at Muthanallur Ammanikere village, Sarjapur Hobli, Anekal taluk, Bengaluru district, Karnataka.
The CID stated that these lands were purchased by AgriGold directors and N Mamatha, wife of company director Chinnapa Srinivasa Reddy, using depositors’ money.
The commissioner and inspector general of registration and stamps has been instructed to prevent any further transactions involving the attached properties.
