Amaravati: With the state government preparing to convene the monsoon session of the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council from August 17, YSRCP president Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy will meet the party MLAs and MLCs at the YSRCP Central Office in Tadepalli on Wednesday. Jagan is expected to discuss the issues to be taken up in the Legislature, the prevailing political situation and the party’s forthcoming programmes and political action plan. Jagan will review the issues affecting people with the party’s legislators and give them directions on the course of action to be adopted during and after the session. The meeting is also expected to focus on coordinating the party’s response to the government’s policies and strengthening its political engagement on public issues. The meeting will also assess the party’s grassroots engagement and its approach to the latest political developments in the state.
