Acer’s first Googlebook has surfaced in a series of retailer listings and benchmark databases, suggesting Google’s new laptop platform could debut with hardware aimed squarely at the premium notebook market. According to the leaked information, the flagship configuration will be powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 355 processor paired with up to 32GB of RAM. Instead, Acer appears to be positioning the Googlebook as a premium productivity laptop capable of handling demanding workloads. Premium components such as an OLED display, Intel Core Ultra processors and large memory configurations are likely to push the Googlebook well above the price of conventional Chromebooks. Google has yet to officially announce the Googlebook platform or confirm Acer as one of its launch partners.
