Auckland legal tech company Nylon has embarked on a rebrand and is seeking to raise $20 million in a new seed round to expand in the UK and US.
Founded in 2023, Nylon was previously known as Law Cyborg and uses AI to answer detailed questions on tax and law.
It serves almost 2,000 accounting and law firms across New Zealand, Australia and the UK, including two of the so-called “Big Four” firms.
The raise will draw on both local and international investors and will fund the company’s growth in the UK and allow it to build out its product for the US.
