oOh!media New Zealand has launched the country’s first LED bus shelter screens, giving advertisers access to more flexible digital advertising screens. The rollout is now underway, with four LED sites already live and new installations taking place each week. More than 70 digital bus shelters will be deployed across Christchurch by the end of 2026, with the full network of 110 completed by the end of June 2027. Featuring next-generation 75-inch energy-efficient LED screens, the upgraded sites deliver a premium street furniture experience, with greater brightness, higher resolution, enhanced contrast and wider viewing angles. “Launching New Zealand’s first LED bus shelter network is a significant milestone for the industry, setting a new benchmark for the quality and standard of street furniture in New Zealand.
