GRAND FORKS — A Grand Forks man was seriously injured Tuesday afternoon after his motorcycle was struck by an SUV on Gateway Drive.
ADVERTISEMENTPolice responded to a report of a crash around 1:15 p.m. on the 2400 block of Gateway Drive, according to a release.
An investigation found that the motorcyclist had been traveling west on Gateway Drive when the SUV, a 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe, turned onto Gateway from a business.
Traffic was diverted away from Gateway Drive from North Columbia Road to North 20th Street for about two hours as a result of the crash.
The Grand Forks Fire Department, Altru Ambulance Services, Interstate Towing, the Unmanned Aerial Systems Team and the Collision Analysis Reconstruction Team assisted the Grand Forks Police Department.
