For Justin Simmons, becoming the new wrestling coach at Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School feels a lot like coming home. Now, Simmons will take over a young Voc-Tech wrestling program entering just its second season. He also attended a local wrestling camp where New Bedford High School wrestlers worked with younger athletes, and it wasn't long before Simmons was hooked. Simmons previously coached a youth wrestling program at a New Bedford jiu-jitsu gym, and some of those young athletes are now students wrestling at Voc-Tech. Voc-Tech's wrestling program made an impressive first impression last season.
