The incident happened on May 12 after the child was found unresponsive in the family's pool. One officer then started performing CPR, and the child started expelling water and regained consciousness. Hialeah Mayor Bryan Calvo recognized Hialeah Police officers Renato Bejar and Hector Rosado as the two who acted quickly and saved the child.
