Missouri high school fall sports began practicing on Monday, but the weather outside feels anything but fall-like. The Missouri State High School Activities Association requires schools to just have one practice per day during the first five days of fall sports practice. Football players can practice in helmets, but not pads, during the first two days of practice. One thing that local high school football coaches have stressed is the need to stay hydrated.
