Richmond County School System students climbed higher on Georgia Milestones exams in algebra, biology, and U.S. history. Students in grades three, four, five, six and eight also scored better in math on end-of-grade exams, while eighth-graders did better in science, physical science and social studies. Georgia reported another year of growth on Georgia Milestones. Fourth, fifth, and sixth grade math and high school algebra all hit their highest rates since Georgia Milestones began. "While Georgia Milestones is one measure of student achievement, we're encouraged by the progress our students continue to make."
