BLOOMFIELD —Stoddard County commissioners received an update Monday covering a risk management review recently conducted at the sheriff's department, justice center, and the clerk's office.
Hedrick said, "Travelers (current insurance provider) recognized a number of strong practices already in place and identified a few opportunities to further strengthen the county's risk management efforts."
It was learned the review recommended adopting and implementing the new employee handbook at the clerk's office.
Hedrick offered additional risk management resources available for employee training, covering subjects such as: anti-harassment, cyber awareness, workplace violence, and slip-trip-fall prevention.
Presiding Commissioner Greg Mathis clarified, "The only office within the government building they went through is the clerk's office?"
