SAFFORD — The Small Business Development Center at EAC has two events taking place Wednesday. At 8 a.m., at the Safford Library Annex on Central Avenue, the SBDC is teaming with the City of Safford for a Conversation on Small Business. The informal gathering allows entrepreneurs to speak with city officials about regulations and zoning, while SBDC officials will discuss business counseling, training and other available resources, including financing opportunities to local businesses. Starting at 5 p.m., in the Academics Programming building on the campus of EAC, the SBDC will hold a Dreambuilder kick-off meeting. In addition, the meeting will delve into the specific needs of child care businesses and financial opportunities that exist to help.
