King Bee & The Stingers set to perform at Southern Indiana Blues FestivalINDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — King Bee & The Stingers are set to light up the Southern Indiana Blues Festival with their soulful blues, funk grooves, and lively performances August 27-29, 2026.
Held at Bill Monroe’s Music Park & Campground, the festival offers three days packed with music and community spirit.
The band, led by vocalist Sarah Menefee, daughter of founder Mark “King Bee” Menefee, has been a regional favorite since 2006.
Jeff Shew, Southern Indiana Blues Festival representative and bassist for the band, said the festival has thrived for over two decades, drawing blues fans nationwide.
The band performs regularly at blues festivals throughout the Midwest, including the Madison Ribberfest, the Southern Indiana Blues Festival, and the Queen City Blues Fest in Ohio.
