Lafayette prepares for its 17th annual Outfest Pride celebration SaturdayINDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Lafayette is preparing for its 17th annual Outfest Pride celebration Saturday, a marquee event that has grown from a one-block turnout to five blocks downtown. Eric Jones, executive director of Pride Lafayette, said Outfest is more than just a daylong festival. “Outfest truly does help us serve the community year-round,” Jones said. The celebration bolsters a community center that offers safe spaces and support groups for youth and families throughout the year. Now, Lafayette Pride is one of 53 Pride celebrations across Indiana.
