(CNS): Ricardo Taylor was found guilty last week of sexual abuse of a small child. After a five-day trial, it took just a few hours for the jury to return unanimous guilty verdicts on three of five counts, all of which Taylor had denied. The child sometimes stayed at the home where Taylor was living with other children, and that was when he abused her. During the trial, the court heard that the child had said she had cried silently during the abuse. A social inquiry report and a victim impact report were ordered ahead of the scheduled sentencing hearing on 25 September.
