It seems like no matter where you turn these days, the technology industry is pushing towards an all-digital future. Physical media may be experiencing its own underground comeback of sorts, but that's certainly not the direction the mainstream market is headed in at an overarching level. For me, the biggest downside to digital media that isn't talked about nearly enough is the fact that digital copies of shows and movies can be altered, censored, or otherwise changed after the fact.
