DalyAbbott announced on Aug. 11 a multi-year partnership with Google Health aimed at transforming personal health management by integrating ongoing glucose insights from Abbott's Lingo biowearable with Google's artificial intelligence technology. The initiative includes a large-scale research study that will inform artificial intelligence coaching within the Google Health app and future features of Abbott's Lingo product. Rishi Chandra, vice president and general manager of Google Health, said, "The future of health lies in turning complex health information into personalized guidance that people can use every day. We have an opportunity to provide powerful, personalized health insights that can help people live longer, healthier lives." The integration with Google Health is expected later this year.
