Authorities rushed to the crash site in Grand Junction on Sunday morning to find the car had come to rest on a steep hillside. The vehicle was driving along Lookout Lane when it veered off the road and down the cliff, killing the five people inside, the Grand Junction Police Department said in a Facebook post. Local officials said all five passengers were 17-year-old boys from Grand Junction, but didn’t release their names because they are minors. The district said it will have resources for students and staff following the tragic crash, per CBS News Colorado.
