Needless to say, it's been a happy time to be a Persona fan...unless you happen to be a fan of the very first few Persona games like Revelation: Persona, Persona 2: Innocent Sin, and Persona 2: Eternal Punishment.
A tone that Atlus may be bringing back in Persona 6, judging by how creepy its announcement trailer shown at the June 2026 Xbox Games Showcase was.
Personally, I would like to see remakes of the first few Persona games, as I never got a chance to play them due to how rare and scarce they are to find where I live.
Persona 2 especially, because the idea of playing a Persona game where we played as older characters instead of teenagers in most Persona games sounds really refreshing.
