A 21-year-old driver caused the front of a building to collapse after he ploughed into it driving whilst on his phone.
Daniel Mohammed crashed into the takeaway shop in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, at around 6am on the morning of July 20 last year.
Mohammed, of Cobridge, pleaded guilty to causing serious injury by dangerous driving, using a vehicle without third party insurance, and using a handheld mobile phone while driving a vehicle.

'You were using the mobile phone and had no insurance.
