Tour de Victoria returns this weekend with rides for cyclists of all abilities

Cyclists from across Vancouver Island and beyond will hit the roads around Greater Victoria this weekend for the annual Ryder Hesjedal’s Tour de Victoria.
Organizers say the event is designed for cyclists of all ages and abilities, with eight distances ranging from 15 kilometres to 160 kilometres.
A 140-kilometre route also starts at 7 a.m.For those looking for something shorter, the 100-kilometre and 80-kilometre rides begin at 8:45 a.m., while the 60-kilometre ride starts at 9:30 a.m.
The Tour de Victoria is a fully supported, traffic-controlled ride rather than a traditional race.
Registration for the 2026 Tour de Victoria closes Friday, Aug. 14.
