Los Angeles City Council member Adrin Nazarian, who represents the communities north of Universal Studios Hollywood, posted to his social media that the park "will be installing two additional sound barriers to help reduce noise."
Nazarian's post noted that Universal's sound testing met the park’s requirements, but that Universal will be reaching out to the community with updates and is proceeding with the additional sound barriers.
Meanwhile, Universal has completed the track for a second installation of Fast & Furious Hollywood Drift at Universal Orlando's Universal Studios Florida.
