Mr. Christopher “Chris” Daniel Freeland, age 37, of Rome, Georgia, passed away on August 5, 2026, at a local hospital. Chris was born on October 19, 1988, in Thomaston, Georgia, a son of Alton Jiroud Freeland and Susan Michelle Brown Freeland. Chris loved his kids more than anything else in his world and his presence will forever be missed. In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Freeland was cremated, and a private memorial will be held by the family at a later date.
