Challenger launches retirement hub to boost pre-retiree confidence
[]
Money Management
It comes as Australia’s retirement market continues to swell, with 250,000 new retirees a year, many of whom lack confidence entering retirement and could benefit from financial advice. Women are notably impacted by low levels of retirement confidence, with CFS research revealing that just 34 per cent of women are feeling prepared for retirement, with a further 62 per cent feeling they will be unable to achieve a comfortable retirement. Per Challenger’s statement, the Institute will bring together “evidence-based research, insights, and conversations with industry experts to improve understanding of retirement income and support the development of Australia’s retirement income market at scale for the benefit of all”.
