A former chairman of the Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State and loyalist of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, Samuel Nwanosike, has threatened to take the political battle for 2027 to the bedroom of former Rivers State governor, Rotimi Amaechi, ahead of the 2027 elections.
Nwanosike issued the threat in a viral video at an event, wherein hesaid that the political battle in the state would go beyond the streets, declaring that the contest would be taken to Amaechi’s “bedroom.”
Yet he believes that it’s only him that is from the Ikwerre Local Government.”
Nwanosike also warned Amaechi and his political faction against returning to Rivers State until the Supreme Court determines which faction of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) should be recognised by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
