NAIROBI FEBRUARY 28, 2017 (CISA) – Caritas Maralal has unveiled a new strategic plan that highlights the activities and goals the diocese aims to achieve by the year 2020. Speaking February 27, during the launch Bishop Virgillio Pante of the Catholic Diocese of Maralal said the strategic plan is inspired by the Church’s push for peace and reconciliation in the diocese. He attested that Caritas Maralal has played a great role in the diocese’s mission of restoring peace among the warring communities. Caritas Kenya President, Archbishop Martin Kivuva commended Caritas Maralal for the good plans they have put in place to transform lives in the diocese. “I want to congratulate Caritas Maralal because this is exactly what our Pope is telling us; to go out there to the suffering majority.
