Aden — Yemen’s Ministry of Public Health and Population announced Tuesday that 212 people were killed or injured in Houthi attacks across several governorates between August 6 and 10, including 36 fatalities and 176 wounded. According to statistics released by the ministry’s Emergency Operations Center, the majority of casualties were recorded in Marib governorate, where both Marib city and Marib valley witnessed dozens of deaths and injuries. On August 7 alone, Marib city reported 37 victims, including seven killed and 30 injured. In Taiz’s Mokha area, seven people were killed and 30 injured after a series of strikes. Reports also confirmed a large‑scale Houthi assault on Mokha city and port on Monday, involving ballistic missiles and drones, with air defenses intercepting several projectiles.
